Upon successful completion, you will be certified to sail a multihull sailboat in light to moderate winds without supervision.
In addition to small boat sailing lessons, we rent sea kayaks and Catamarans for your own recreational use. For fun sailing with JaK as your skipper, enjoy day trips touring the waters of the Grand Columbia River.
SCHEDULE
Courses start daily from April to October. Classes are arranged from 9 a.m. up to 3 p.m. throughout the day and accommodate a maximum of 3 students plus the instructor. Once payment is received, you will be scheduled for the next available class, or in the nearest class that will fit your schedule.
Upon successful completion of the Small Boat Course, students are invited to rent one of our sailboats and set sail on their own!
Group Classes
Group classes are taught onboard, with class sizes limited to 3 students in each class, to ensure each student receives plenty of sailing experience. Whether you are a first-time sailor or have some experience under your belt, we can accommodate your skill level and help you achieve your sailing goals.
Private Instruction
If you have specific sailing goals, or simply need a refresher lesson, we offer private one-on-one sailing instruction, customized to meet your requirements.
Sailing Adventure Camps
Captain JaK will instruct your camper (9 years and older) in all facets of sailing small Catamarans. We have a love of sailing that is contagious. The course will cover fundamentals of sailing and seamanship, even if your child has little or no sailing experience. The course will build confidence through hands-on instruction by enthusiastic veterans of the sea.
